Triton range achieves maximum five-star ANCAP safety
Mitsubishi Motors Australia Limited (MMAL) is proud to confirm its entire Triton Utility range has achieved the maximum five-star ANCAP safety rating, tested to the latest – and most stringent protocols. Triton was the first Double Cab Pickup to be awarded a five-star ANCAP safety rating against current ANCAP criteria, and is now joined by the recently-announced Double Cab Chassis, Club Cab Pickup and Cab Chassis, and Single Cab Chassis variants.
ANCAP noted the Triton demonstrated high levels of protection for occupants in crash tests, a broad fitment of airbags and advanced active safety systems as key standard equipment that supported the five-star rating
Triton scored highly across each key ANCAP category, as below:
- 86% Adult Occupant Protection
- 89% Child Occupant Protection
- 73% Vulnerable Road User Protection
- 70% Safety Assist
