A novated lease is an agreement whereby an employee enters into a finance lease with a financier and the employee's obligations under this lease are novated to the employer, whereby the employer agrees to satisfy these obligations on the employees behalf. The employer agrees to pay the monthly lease rentals with the employee gaining use of the vehicle as part of their salary packaging.

Can I apply for a novated lease?
Anyone can apply for a novated lease. They are best suited to any employee who wants a motor vehicle included as part of their salary provided their employer is open to salary packaging.
